About the Fujii Laboratory

Its official designation within the faculty is "Museum Studies Laboratory."

In reality, in addition to museology, I engage in a relatively wide range of research fields, including Chinese archaeology, cultural relics studies, and iconography.

Focusing on museums and cultural heritage, this project comprehensively attempts to develop new museum studies and new archaeological history and artifact research from an interdisciplinary perspective.

The theme of this research lab is "New Museum Studies."

(Museum Studies / Chinese Archaeology)

The significance of archaeology and museum research lies in reconstructing the landscapes, customs, activities, thoughts, and beliefs of past countries and regions, and utilizing them to shape present and future societies.
My research focuses primarily on Chinese archaeology from the Wei-Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties periods, as well as museums and cultural heritage, mainly in China and Taiwan. I would love to collaborate with you on research and projects.

Our Team

This research lab consists of one faculty member and undergraduate students, graduate students, and research students.

My interests and research directions are based on a spirit of "transbordering," where I enjoy expanding, deepening, and building knowledge without being confined to established fields or frameworks .
